The Rohan Apurva Parikh (RAP) Group, born out of the Natvar Parikh Group, has a rich history in the transportation and shipping industries. For over 50 years, the group’s transportation arm, Lift and Shift, provided heavy equipment transportation and lifting services for various industries such as power plants, petrochemical refineries, and offshore installations. In addition, the RAP Group has been involved in the shipping industry for over four decades, beginning with handling the first containers to land in India at Mumbai port. The group later expanded into handling complete container movements from ship to port, with their subsidiary company ACS Shipping handling shipping operations.

As the group’s portfolio continued to diversify, they ventured into the hospitality industry with the establishment of their flagship venture

The Acres Club, in Chembur in 2000. The Acres Club offers modern sports and lifestyle amenities and is regarded as one of the top clubs in Mumbai. Additionally, the group formerly operated Fern Residency, a top-rated hotel with 84 rooms, located in Eastern Mumbai.

Overall, the RAP Group’s divestments from Lift and Shift and Fern Residency demonstrate their commitment to focusing on their core operations while also creating opportunities for growth and renewed focus for the businesses being divested.
